Tallow is the oil extracted from animal suet (fat).

It has proven to be an excellent moisturizer and contains vitamins and nutrients such as vitamins A, D, E, and K. These vitamins and minerals not only help with moisturizing and neutralizing free radicals from pollution, but also have anti-aging properties.

Tallow is much more compatible with human skin than plant oils, because it contains the same vitamins and minerals essential our skin needs.

The tallow is rendered by Heritage Homestead from Maine raised cattle.

Some products contain other organic ingredients such as organic oils and essential oils for additional benefits.
